Community Guidelines

HUM is designed for genuine connection with the people who matter to you. These guidelines help keep our community safe and welcoming.
1. Our Values
- Connection over metrics: No likes, follower counts, or engagement scores
- Privacy-first: Your presence is shared only with people you choose
- Ephemeral by design: Most content disappears, reducing pressure to perform
2. Prohibited Content and Behavior
Zero Tolerance (immediate account termination)
- Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, and sexual exploitation of minors - reported to NCMEC and, where appropriate, law enforcement
- Credible threats of violence
- Terrorism or violent extremism
Prohibited (content removal, possible suspension/ban)
- Harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse
- Hate speech or discrimination based on protected characteristics
- Spam or commercial solicitation
- Impersonation of real people
- Non-consensual intimate imagery
- Illegal content or activity
- Self-harm or suicide promotion
- Dangerous misinformation
3. Reporting
- How to report: Tap the Report button on any profile or content
- Report categories: Harassment, Spam, Impersonation, Other
- Blocking: Users can block abusive users in-app to prevent certain interactions and remove that user's content from the blocker's in-app feed
- What happens: Reports and block-generated safety signals are reviewed by our team within 24 hours
- Privacy: The person you report is not notified that you reported them

4. Enforcement Actions
Based on severity and history:
- Warning - First-time minor violations
- Content removal - Violating content is deleted
- Temporary suspension - Account access restricted
- Permanent ban - Account terminated for severe or repeated violations
5. Appeals
- Contact chris.app.dev.contact@gmail.com to appeal an enforcement decision
- Include your username and explanation
- Appeals are reviewed within 5 business days
